Keaton explores the spooky mansion, he encounters a variety of strange and creepy characters, including a sinister butler, a ghostly apparition, and a spooky skeleton. He also finds himself in a series of dangerous situations, such as falling down a trapdoor and getting stuck in a revolving door. Despite the many obstacles he faces, Keaton eventually manages to outwit the robbers and escape from the haunted house with the help of a group of friendly police officers. Along the way, he also manages to win the heart of a young woman who had been trapped in the house with him.
